Thoughts at 3.33am

Thoughts at 3.33am

Poor Baby Mac got to sit on iron board
Together he keeps me accompany
To arm myself to the battle field at 10.15am
Less than 7 hours to go
Less sleep
Less energy
But, a brain with a wave of information
I hope I had done enough
I want this to be the limit
I want this to be worth
Who knows what happened later?
Will the history repeated?
God, let me get through this

I regretted for my laziness
I regretted for my procrastination
I regretted for sleeping too much
I regretted for not doing well for the 8 weeks

Will I be punished?
Will I be lucky?
Will I be given one last chance?

Hormones are dancing
Biological clock needs asylum
Brain need to be preserved
For no loss of memory
No loss of information
So, that no loss of life in the future

My bed is calling
My blanket is spreading
My pillow is stacking
My plushie is waving (creepy)
I'm hallucinating
Baby Mac is drying

Eli, live with it
With the path you take
With the mountain you climb
With the sea you swim
With the jungle you venture
With the track you run
With the passion in your heart
With the world you live in
With the air you breathe
With the lives you will deal

Time won't stop ticking
World won't stop spinning
Lives won't stop coming
Death won't stop going
God won't stop giving up
I won't stop keeping it up

h.o.m.e

Home is really sweet!

This is what my dog did when I just got down my car to welcome me home!
Oh yeah, his name is Dao Dao
Dao Dao (cantonese) = Bean/Peanuts (English)
When he do that, he wants me to rub his sexy belly

The main purpose I am home:

S.t.u.d.y!
I'm still stuck in the same book
=.=

Other than just studying, here is all my L.O.V.E!!
My bed and babies!

My giraffe a.k.a Lut is back with me from KL

Miss my dearie Nemo!
So huggable

Nothing more perfect and warm than home itself
Too comfortable that somehow my study progress is too slow

But, I enjoy being pampered and spoiled again!
Didn't get this in KL

Before holidays..

I didn't know whether it was my problem or something else
I had a sense of unsatisfactory towards exam this time
It did not feel like how exams suppose to be

Set in the bubbles of my mind, exams were supposed to be hectic & brain exhaustion
It had a very "laggy" feel this time
Either it was because I was lazy or it was because Medicine & Community Health were the combination
Honestly I dislike having a break in the middle of the exam separating OBA paper & the KFQ
It gave a feeling that the time ticked so fast
Dislike the schedule as well, a very big gap in between theory paper & OSCE, which was good in the sense of more time to revise
Whereas, it was just a matter of waiting too long just for short OSCE

Well, putting aside the unusual feeling I had, of course it gave me a something new
Just an additional of 1 minute in our OSCE for every station
With near 30 stations during pre clinical year, there were only less than 10 stations in clinical excluding PPD

Speaking about Community Health a.k.a JKM
9 furious stations, 2 rest stations, 2 relieving PPD station
It was totally stunted by JKM station when more than half of the stations had 2 pages of questions plus calculations
Initially I was feeling really upset for not being able to finish my sentence in most my answers
I found out then that most people facing the same problems
PPD station this time was such a big relief for me, no standardized patient, only watching a video in the laptop
That was such a grateful BONUS, as I always have no idea how our PPD was assessed

Having Internal Medicine on the last day and the last group to go through was a torture
We just spent so much time waiting but we couldn't concentrate on what we were reading
I always had PPD-phobia & I wanted to get rid of it so badly
Guess no other cure other than placing me to start at the station next to PPD
Which mean, while my group was rotating in the circuit of the OSCE, PPD station was my last
*Great*
Surprisingly, we had more than enough time for Medicine paper even though we were given 5 minutes each station as well
What made it boring was 4 rest stations in between 5 Medicine stations
Alternating questions paper and resting time wasn't a good idea at all

In conclusion, we were the last batch to be breaking free
Soaring, flying, jumping, hopping!
Taking this chance to wish a great holidays ahead to all my coursemates out there!

Happy Holidays!
Happy Deepavali!

Till we meet again

When I said nothing at all

All done with my written paper for Internal Medicine and Community Health!
6 days to go before OSCE for both postings, as well
Need a good rest, hoping to have wonderful lala land awaiting me..

It was said "You don't wish to sleep because your dream has turn into reality"
Mine, goes the other way round
"I wish to sleep because my dream hasn't turn into reality"
That is why sleeping is my Love

It is because I love sleeping so much that I neglect my intelligence
I didn't get myself Clinical Medicine by Kumar & Clark, the baby version
After 8 weeks of Medicine and 8 weeks of Hawaii posting, I still didn't turn smart to get one for myself
Until I found out that, I am totally in need of it during the study week
Out of nowhere I turn out a bit smarter than usual, I borrowed from Xu Vin

Thanks, Vin!

OSPE/OSCE & Eli

Yeah, this is a late post
I guess it was because I am TOTALLY SPEECHLESS

In my memory, OSPE was something we learned in lab
Practical, meet the expert session (MES)

Reality check!
From GIT to Reproductive system
Most of the slides & pictures were from lecture notes
What the *dot dot dot*

The only fun part was when we changed stations every 4 minutes
Seriously, I really think it was FUN
Even though I didn't get the answer
I love walking around when the bell rings
*wink*

Clinical !!
Upper limb -Tone, Power, Reflexs
*tendon hammer time*
As I expected, I did not get the brachial reflexes
*but I pretended to be serious*

History taking on GIT case
What is colicky pain?
At this moment, it made me realized that I did not know colicky pain well
I couldn't exactly answer that

PPD station
Gosh, that guy was so hard to be console, man!
His prejudice was so STRONG
For some moment, felt like want to stomp on him
LOL
Luckily it was Dr. Heikal as my observer / examiner
He showed me a 'thumb up' after I finished
Thank you, Dr!

Conclusion : This was the fun-nest clinical & PPD stations I ever had... A bit more prepared and relaxed...

This is all about my exam reviews for now...
Hope I don't have to slit in another one..
*praying hard not to resit any paper*

I really wish 203 out of 203 of us will go posting together this June
Till then...

OMG attacks!

Lots of thing happened in one day
Yeah - TODAY
Kind of like not so me..
Haha XD

For GIT assessment today
I forgot to sign the attendance slip
I filled it up & I realized I forgot to pen down my signature
But I was there in the exam hall
I thought I was still in Sem 1
I think for about 10 minutes only I realized I tick the wrong semester column

Not to mention about how the exam went..
GIT was kinda terrible

During the so-called 5 hours break before Endocrine paper
Having John & Dinesh together was not bad
At least their brain are bigger & full-er...
Mine was kinda empty & confused..
It was fun although I was totally stressed out...
Haha XD

John even wanna scold me for not teaching him about calcitonin..
I told him about it last minute
Kinda like 3 minutes before we entered the exam hall
Elaine can be my alibi... XD

I was totally going to give up on SLP
Until Elaine came to me telling me about hypercalcemia
I was like, why not just read with her
And make fun of it

That was like so OMG when it appeared in essay
Thanks, Elaine!! =)

There was another OMG when ameobiasis came out in essay for GIT

Conclusion: Both essays are from SLP...!!!
READ SLP 1st next time!!!! *semangat*

Last Thursday was my very 1st time of waking up late for class
I forgotten that I am using my samsung phone
Not Sony...
The alarm rang at 6.10am..
I snoozed...
Bear in my mind that it will wake me up again in 10 minutes
When I opened my eyes feeling satisfied from my sleep
http://www.emocutez.com
It was so OMG (another attack of OMG)
7.19am!!!!!!!
*Load my mind: Usually, I am already in the bus or waiting the bus at the bus stop by this time*
Jump, Run!!!!!
7.34am, I am at the bus stop...
Feeling proud that I can be super fast as well...

Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?
http://www.emocutez.com
First, it is the exam... No, we are not there yet..

Second, it is about the notes... No, I am not reaching to the end yet..

It has been my 5th day of study week and hell yeah, I am getting exhausted day by day..
Being cramped in the room for too long with only one aim - Finish the Notes - definitely a boring yet interesting task..

First few days were going good & motivation level in the peak..

Here comes the 5th day, narcolepsy is coming in, joining me in the army of notes war..http://www.emocutez.com
Unexpectedly, my appetite getting worst & I am addicted to 'teh ais' @ 'ice milk tea' from the cafe.. It makes me stay awake & give me a hard to shut my eyes in the wee hour when I really need a good sleep..

My countdown still on : 5 days to go on my 5th day of study week..

before my first formative assessment

before my first formative assessment
Formative assessment? What's that? A very minor exam taken by us, the UKM medical students after every module.. So, our very 1st formative assessment (a 45 minutes test) is all about Cellular Biomolecules.. It was more about Biochemistry, anyway..
My student card & the 'golden' name tag...

Tada.... My books.. Biochem.. Clinical medicine.. Merck's.. Dorlands..

My preparation :

My way: Study at night.. See there, MILO..

Doing my own short notes... That's UKM pen & Pesta Tanglung papers..

Study on your bed.. (only when my bud is pain enough for sitting too long on the chair)

And the library... With my laptop, information from the Net.. XD
