Mars Need Moms 3D screening

Big fat THANK YOU to Nuffnang for the tickets to exclusive 3D premiere screening of Mars Needs Moms in Cathay Cineleisure, e@Curve, 9th March, 9.30pm!!!

Excited get to watch 1 day earlier before it was out in cinema!

Why I think my Mom is the best in the world?

This is what I commented for this contest:
"My mom is the best in the world because I never fail to get a chance to listen to her voice everyday even though I’m away from home. When I am home during the break, she must had clean my room, change my bed and pillow sheet, every clothes nicely hang in the ward robe and she even clean my soft toys one by one in my room. I only get to see her less than half of 365 days in a year but she is the one that I always had in my heart. Mommy, wo ai ni (I Love You)…"

When there is movie screening with the bloggers, there is definitely..
Great gathering!
Great chat!
Good food!
More pictures!

Our choice for dinner and blogger meet up is Vivo American Pizza & Panini
This place was picked by Jayren

Left to right (above): Smoked Chicken BBQ, Hawaiian Pizza, Pepperoni pizza (claimed to be the BEST by Isaac and Elwyn)

Carmen ordered this and I shared with her
We made everyone had a scoop of this

Look at the picture of the right, the chocolate is like the lava of the volcano!
Love this max max!

Take 1!
Not enough!
Take 2, 3, 4, 5!
Satisfied...

We met Li Chuen and her friends during ticket collection.
After that, Henry Lee joined in.
Met Glam and Iris in the cinema.
Met Wilee after the movie when we were claiming our phones

(Pictures courtesy of myself and Carmen)
As promised, the Emo Group want to take pictures together
The numbering is the sequence of members in the group
Too bad, the President of Emo Group, Tikkoss wasn't there when we took the pictures

Something different when going to watch Disney movie screening
They make me so confused, either I was treated like a terrorist or I'm someone traced my terrorist
Know why?
They confiscated our phones and cameras, we feel so lifeless for the next 2 hours
They scan us before walking into the cinema hall
But, during the movie, they walked up and down along the aisle watching us, feel like being protected for free for 1 and half hours!

Those people are in super smart formal wear some more!

(Picture on the right courtesy of Isaac)
This is how the phone was kept in the counter (I re-wrapped it and take picture to show you guys how it was done)
The handphone deposit counter with man and lady in black

All thanks to Isaac and Elwyn for having the passion of kiasu-nism to be the first two person that got into the hall and reserved 2 rows of seat, blocking the entrance some more!
Thank you and love you guys max max!

Thanks to Tikkoss for passing the popcorn from one end to the other end

Mars Needs Moms!

Gribble and Milo

Ki
I love her doing the colorful paint and how she speak English
"Right on!"
"You can change colour!"

Every movie need villain, she is the one - the supervisor

Love this moment!

I don't really do movie review but I can say this movie is like any other Disney movies. I like the humour!
I guess the graphic is not bad but the 3D glasses make it look so bad!

Speaking about 3D glasses
The design of the 3D glasses is super cool, we even play with it before the movie.
When the movie started, everyone is so excited to put it on!
Then...
I started to wonder, why so blur, dark and dull one?
I thought it was my eye sight problem (if you know me really well, you will know I have super bad eye sight)
I pushed the glasses nearer to get a better view and even strain my eyes
The image still dark and blur, the after effects - I'm sleepy!

Then only I know everyone actually feels the same
It looks better when take off the glasses!
I can say, just watch 2D!!!!!!!

Oh ya, I love the credits when they showed how the film this movie!
So funny!

This is the last screening that I'm going to attend for the next 3 to 4 months
Gonna miss pre-movie dinner, camwhoring and watching the screening with you guys!!!!!!

Long case mission accomplished!

Farhana and I: Dr, when can we do long case with doctor?
Doctor: *Look at me* You present already?
Me: Yeah, I presented to doctor once
Doctor: Oh, okay *look at Farhana* Next week 4pm, okay..
Me: *silent evil laugh*

When doctor went away...

Me: Yes! Does he mean I don't have to do long case anymore? *still with big smile*
Nadhira: You know what? You're the luckiest person in the world
Me: Yes Yes Yes!

One whole week feeling God knows how happy and lucky I am
Lazy to go to ward early, didn't bother to look for any case

Today...

I sat in the seminar room waiting for doctor like 2 hours because one of the class postponed
Doing nothing but charging my phone and breaking my tweet record

4pm, doctor walked in and the first thing he said

Doctor: Who want to present first?
Me: *confused.. who? die die die, he forgot and I need to present my case actually*

Farhana started her presentation, my mind wasn't there and I started to rearrange a case that I already had with me long time ago

Doctor: Next.... *looking at me*

Very short presentation and in my heart was like *this is such a bullcrap, my unprepared presentation sucks*

I wanted to tell doctor so badly, "Doctor, I presented, do I still need to present?"
But that sound like trying to avoid being assessed again, as if I'm so afraid he found my mistake
Another point, that is so not professional!

So, I just present without telling him all that

So "smart" telling doctor that I want to do a Liver Function Test and Abdominal X-Ray on this patient when there is no indication for this case

"Smarter" when the discussion and presentation had ended only I ask, "Shall we do serum amylase?"
Doctor : Yeah, actually just now if you didn't mention it, it is okay. But if you do mention about it, it is quite good.

Just now? Not consider inside my presentation already...
sweat =.="

In conclusion...

I had done my long case!

Doing an unprepared immediate presentation is better than I knew it one week earlier as I will have sleepless night. But I sleep well last night. Qi Wen, I'm so happy for you!

How many of us know what does this 7-letter word means?
PREPAID!

Frankly speaking, I am not someone who really care about what is Prepaid, how does it works, why is it there in the very beginning AND I myself is a Prepaid customer. Feel cheated right when I have no idea about Mr. Prepaid?

After all the confusion, I still have no idea which is the worth one I can get and usually I won't bother about it.

Life without hospital

My Saturday (5th March) is more like just eat and slacking around. Such a blessing!
I was awaken by my cousins saying that we are going to Low Yat

After we had a hard time deciding where to get brunch, my uncle parked the car in Pavilion
Strolling around then finally we decided to have brunch in Fahrenheit 88

Here we are

Sushi Zanmai, Fahrenheit 88

We usually don't use the tissue inside the packet
Have to pay for it!

Inari and tamago
Finally I had inari after so long

My favourite sushi, Spider Roll
I still think the first time I had it in Sunway Pyramid is the best
But, this one not bad too
Just wish that the soft crab shell thingy give more wow taste!

The main meal, Curry Ramen
Japanese curry has never been spicy but I love it!

There is a book fair on the ground floor
So sakit hati when most of the book that I had bought and that I want to read is s cheap here

My uncle and younger cousin went off to Low Yat while Qi Tyng and I stayed in Fahrenheit 88.
Since both of our phones (in total 3 phones) were running out of battery, we quickly find a place to settle down and text them where we were.

The battery-less people then found a cosy place - Pacific Coffee Company

I was very cold after the cold green tea I had after the brunch
Ordered hot Caramel Latte for myself and Chocolate Paradise for Qi Tyng
Then we went online using the computer there to check our tweet and we talked about soaking in Sunway Lagoon

In case you're curious, if we follow our plan, I'm already there
But I'm now placing my butt hard on the chair typing this
Oh well, this is when I have too much bonding with the bed and blanket

Dinner time
Head all over to IOI Boulevard in Puchong
Lots of car on the road, bet all heading to Bukit Jalil for Jay Chou's concert

This part of the post is Non-Halal

The Pork Place

There is a PIG above the word Pork actually, I guess the light is spoiled!

One of the decoration that attracted me
The interior design is cosy, dim and cold, I heart it

The menu!
My bad for not taking my Samsung phone with me during the dinner
I myself are not sure why I can just miss that out
So, all the photos here are mostly from cousin's Samsung Corby

Left: Spaghetti Carbonara with mushroom and crispy bacon
Mamma mia to the crispy bacon!!!
The carbonara sauce is not as thick and salty as what I had in somewhere else
I think it is a good idea to have it mild because it can blend in better with the strong taste of crispy bacon

Right top: Meatball spaghetti (I didn't try this)
Right below: Spaghetti bolognese
The bolognese sauce was superb!!!!

You can have the choice to have either spaghetti or linguini or tricolor spiralini

Ah, this one - The Pork Sausages
Come with salads and mashed potatoes
Delicious to max!

The Pork Place
31, IOI Boulevard, Jalan Kenari 7, Bandar Puchong Jaya.

I fall in love in 2 items today
One I saw it in Fahrenheit 88, one I saw it in Pavilion

I had been eyeing on this when we first arrived in Fahrenheit 88
Carlo Rino!
After awhile, I went into the shop to have a look at it
Love the simple design so much
I'm so shy to stay there longer as the shop assistant was looking at me
I think I have the kind of people-that-couldn't-afford-this-bag face, so she just stare at me
I take a peek at the price then took a picture and went off

Love it so much until that I don't even know the collection name!
It cost RM399

Saw them promoting this in Pavilion and directly in love with the smell
Simple bottle and the pink shade

New fragrance from Issey Miyake
L'eau D'Issey Florale

The smell like a bed of rose
Awwwww....

I'm not sure about the price should be near RM300

I Am Number Four special screening

Thank you ChurpChurp for the free tickets to watch I Am Number Four in e@Curve on Tuesday (1st March)

My date of the night is my friend, Connie
She had been my date for movie for the second time now at the same cinema

I'm so excited for the night as most of the bloggers I know will be there too!

Jayren picked me from my place at around 4.50pm and then we head on to pick Connie somewhere nearby and Qi Tyng in Bukit Jalil. We reached e@Curve at 6.30pm and met with Elwyn at the entrance near McDonalds. Then we had our dinner in Popeyes with Li Chuen, Tikkoss and his Mom, Isaac. After that, Hilda and Joeann joined us. Met Tony and Christy as well, but they had their dinner somewhere else.

The ticket collection counter open at 8.30pm and due to Jayren and Tikkoss' kiasu-nism suggestion, we went to wait at the table around 7.55pm. While waiting, for sure some of them will take out their awesome camera to take pictures!

After ticket redemption, Elwyn treated all of us Lecka Lecka for dessert as he has the vouchers.
Want to say Thank You here to Elwyn!

Blame Tikkoss that interrupt me when I took the photo of this..

The sign says it all
They are giving away 30 pairs of ticket from Nuffnang and 30 pairs of ticket from ChurpChurp
Since they are sister company, we collected at the same counter

The ice creams!

(Picture of Tikkoss)
It was fun when the 15 of us sitting in a circle like camp fire eating the 2 bowls of ice cream
The people there are (from my memory starting from Tikkoss):
Tikkoss, Tikkoss' Mom, Connie, Qi Tyng,  yours truly, Jayren, Li Chuen, Hilda, Joeann, Chloe, Christy, Tony, Elwyn, Henry Lee, Isaac

Kian Fai and Shii Teck didn't join us in the circle and from our view, the both of them look like having some emo chat. Sorry guys, no offence!

************************************************

Now about the movie, I Am Number Four!

Alex Pettyfer as Number Four a.k.a John Smith
This is really like my childhood imaginary movie having superpowers!
Yes, superpowerS because he not only have one power, but A LOT
Feel so sad for the people in Heroes now...

I like it when his palms can glow!
Save up the batteries for torch light and the money to buy a torch light when there is no electricity

Another cool superpower he has
Should pay attention to the priceless expression of the driver

Dianna Agron as Sarah, the lover
Or somehow I called her the "sei sou" (Mrs. Number Four)
She is just so sweet!
For Glee lovers, you guys sure know who she is

Their dialogues were so cheesy and from that he get her and her kiss so easily.
I went like "duhhhh... cannot so easy lah!"

The fireproof hot girl, Number 6 a.k.a Jane Doe by Teresa Palmer
Fuhlamak, she is damn 'yeng' in the movie
Got style!

Callan McAuliffe as Sam
The guy that believes in all those superpowers with his Dad, Malcolm
Throughout the movie, he is the sidekick of Number 4

Timothy Olyphant as Henri, the guardian of Number 4

Kevin Durand as the Mogadorian Commander
The villain in the movie that somehow died so easily
Cheh!

Overall, for me the movie is just so-so, except I myself like to see them using superpowers and fight around. The lines were all so cheesy. There are so little dialogue in the movie and everything happened just so fast and end just like that.

Once again, thank you ChurpChurp for the special screening of I Am Number Four

Nice meeting those who are there!

For those that I didn't chat with, I'm sorry that I'm so shy and hope to see you guys again next time
